William ‘Bill’ ‘Paski’ Paskiwycz was born in Brooklyn, New York to a lower class family of Polish decent, he grew up in a rough neighbourhood and fell into petty crime.
Paskiwycz was in and out of juvenile detention centres until he was 17, it was an Imperial Youth Program that had him sent to a military training camp to gain life skills.
He took to the military life and enlisted when he was 18 in the Terran Imperial Union Army.
After basic training, his trial be fire took place in the invasion of Hoyle Prime in 2297, Paskiwycz’s squad was ambushed (one of the few enemy engagements of the entire invasion) Paskiwycz found himself one of the only non-wounded members. He rescued several other wounded members of his squad while under heavy machine gun fire and got them to safety, he then went a step further and took out three Dakota machine gun nests with grenades.
After Hoyle, Paskiwycz was promoted and given the task of assisting in the training of new recruits in his unit.
In 2299, Paskiwycz was assigned three new recruits from Fort Charger, Maine – Privates Devers, Keller and Anderson.
Paskiwycz quickly learnt his unit would be the spearhead of the invasion into the Reinager System, he would have to watch out for his three newbies.
Paskiwycz is a brave soldier, a natural leader in combat, he is respected by his comrades and if he doesn’t agree with someone he makes it known.
Everyone referrs to Paskiwycz by his forced nickname ‘Paski’ which Paskiwycz despises, he will frequently correct people addressing him.
