Another Part 6 update, and works been pretty solid on the modeling side of things. All the modeling, texturing and audio is now complete for Scene 16 so I’m charging forward and animating it as quickly as possible.

So a progress indicator for Part 6 as a whole would be now 50%-60% complete, so we’re definitely getting there. I must say it’s definitely taking longer than I imagined it would.

I know things are going slower than usual with Part 6, this is of course due to the HUGE task of:

a) still learning a new 3D program

b) converting over all the models and re-texturing them

So unfortunately Part 6 has been dogged with a few hickups. HOWEVER (and a big however at that) Scene 15 is complete and this was a doozie of a scene with some BIG shots containing a significant number of ships, so I would say that Part 6 would be probably now sitting on a 40% completed mark, and work on Scene 16 should be alot easier as it isn’t as demanding in the 3D model sense.

So stay tuned more updates will be following and part 6 is drawing closer…

The San Diego Class Cruiser is a formidable ship – she carries a heavy armament and is can be used as a command ship for small taskforces or as part of carrier group or battlegroup supporting far larger vessels.

The Eisenhurst Class Escort Carrier are primarily used as a support taskforce ships or for smaller lower scale offensive operations and system patrols. Being a step up from the Auxilliary Carriers, the Eisenhursts carry double the fighter and bomber squadrons. The Eisenhursts are capable of defending themselves in ship to ship combat, but are not designed to take on more than two enemy capital ships.

Well, I’m gonna go ahead and say it’s about 95% complete and I’m gonna have this sucker up online very very soon.

Again a huge thank you to everyone doing the voices, Ryan Casey and Malcolm Klassen and our new addition Kevin McCulley who is voicing Commander Peters – X.O. of the Patton.

Also a big mammoth thanks to everyone who’s watching, all the comments and such are my biggest motivators.

The Jupiter Naval Yards are the primary repair and maintenance dock for main Union fleet. The yards contain twin dry-docks that can house whole groups of ships. The Yards are in a high orbit of Jupiter and also act as a forward defense base for Sol. System Operations.

Scenes 10, 11 and 12 have been completed but there’s still room on this part for possibly two more scenes so at this time I’m putting Scenes 13 and 14 down onto part 5.

I would guesstimate I’m about 60% complete.

The story is definitely moving forward, the characters are on their way out of the solar system, bound for the invasion fleet.
