Skillen was born in the Pacific Island Region of Earth, his parents were originally from Wales in the Northern European Region who had been stationed there.

Skillen followed in their footsteps and joined the Navy at age 18, however unlike them he chose an off-world station, and was assigned to the U.S.S. Hammer (SDD-1114) as a Hangar Bay Control Operator.

Skillen is known to be a jumpy person, making decisions is not his strong point and he does not enjoy being out of his comfort zone.

Lopez served in 2^nd Squad of Baker Company alongside Private Groenan and Corporal Ross under the command of Staff Sergeant Ogilvy. Lopez enlisted shortly before Operation Hammer Fall – the Invasion of Hoyle and fought with the company there.

During Operation Red Dirt – the invasion of Toyr’diablo, Lopez was killed along with Ogilvy and various others when their UC-78 Raven Carryall crash landed on the surface of the planet.

Hogan served as an Ensign aboard the U.S.S. Hammer (SDD-1114) staring in 2294 and was progressively promoted through to a full Lieutenant.

Hogan was initially assigned as ship’s Mess Officer – a task he did not enjoy at all and was not his reason for heading to space, finally after a promotion he was able to wrangle a position as Hangar Bay Officer with the hopes of someday becoming an officer on the bridge or in one of the gunnery sections.

Hogan is an average officer – pressure is something that can get to him, however he is more than competent of handling himself in dire situations.

Ogilvy served under Lieutenant Ender for many of his years in the Army, he fought with him and Stewart during the Operation Hammer Fall: the invasion of Hoyle and again during Operation Red Dirt: the Invasion of Toyr’diablo.

Ogilvy’s carryall clipped the side of a mountain and crash landed, unfortunately Ogilvy did not survive the crash.

Ogilvy was in command of 2^nd Squad, 3^rd Platoon – the squad that took on Devers, Keller and Anderson.

Ogilvy was considered by all a very no-nonsense and competent NCO and leader.

Ayelburn lied about her age using an online fake ID – in truth the recruiters knew but overlooked it as the Navy was always desperate for personnel.

Ayelburn was assigned to the U.S.S. Hammer (SDD-1114) in 2291 and has served on her since, she is currently a Hangar Bay Control Operator.

Ross fought at the Battle of Hoyle as a heavy machine gunner in 3^rd Platoon, Baker Company under 2^nd Lieutenant Miles Ender. Ross was promoted to Corporal shortly after.

In 2299 Ross’ Platoon was assigned to the Invasion of Toyr’diablo, after the lack-lustre combat on Hoyle, Ross was ready and eager to fight.

Known mostly for his bad sense of humour, Ross is still mildly respected amongst the troops as he has proven himself very reliable in combat, however most people tend to lose their patience with him.

In 2296 the Dakota Republic launched an incursion into Union territory, Maya was one of the planets in their path and all civilians were evacuated. Mary and Sam stowed aboard the C.S.V. Nile Road (TC-26) bound for Earth. However the Nile Road was attacked as it reached Van Gaal VI by Dakota forces. Caine arrived with a rescue detachment from the 4^th Fleet.

Alas Caine was too late, the Dakota destroyed many Union ships and a retreat was ordered by Captain Krauer aboard the surviving carrier U.S.S. Patton (SCA-703). The Nile Road was destroyed, Mary and Samuel did not survive.
