Saturday Weekly Roundup: 19th June 2010

This week has been slightly slower, once again it comes back to the slightly higher amount of model making that is going on – Part 11 has only crept up to 56% as it stands right now.

But the good news is, I have completed the 2D Dakota troops which means I can now start rocketing through the remainder of Scene 24a. And then comes Scene 25 – the last scene of Part 11, this scene is going to be huge, everyone who has been waiting for a space battle will hopefully be pleased. That’s all I say for now about that.

Big Happy Birthday to voice actor Johnny Voruz (Koenig, Stewart) who on today (Friday in the U.S.) turned 28 years old! Just like me on Monday.

I purchased three novels yesterday as I haven’t read any good ones in sometime, hopefully these three will be just what I’m after, they are all action/thrillers the first being ‘The Passage’ by Justin Cronin, about a post-apocalyptic world after something bad has happened (I’m reading that first), the seconds is ‘Patient Zero’ by Jonathan Maberry, to do with (of course) zombies – epic! And the third is ‘The Strain’ by Guillermo Del Toro (Hellboy) and Chuck Hogan – to do with some sort of virus, sounds awesome.

Well I’m off to dive into more Part 11 animating.

Stay tuned for the next Saturday Weekly Roundup – next week.
