Character of the Week: Harvey Skillen

Skillen was born in the Pacific Island Region of Earth, his parents were originally from Wales in the Northern European Region who had been stationed there.
Skillen followed in their footsteps and joined the Navy at age 18, however unlike them he chose an off-world station, and was assigned to the U.S.S. Hammer (SDD-1114) as a Hangar Bay Control Operator.
Skillen is known to be a jumpy person, making decisions is not his strong point and he does not enjoy being out of his comfort zone.

He sounds like a character who will probably complain. “Where’s the captian” “Can someone get my food” etc.
I’m not too certain about this guy yet. He seems to be an accomplished officer however I wonder if he is the type of guy who takes initiative or is the type of guy who sits back and waits for someone else to make the first move. Time will tell I guess.
Anyhow, the story looks better and better everyday Lew. Keep up the great work.
