Part 9 has begun, all the dialogue is written and the audio lines are being recorded and sent in – all are sounding excellent so far! And on Thursday morning I began animation.

Part 9 will show the regrouping of Devers‘ unit from their crash landing and it will show just exactly what the U.S.S. Hammer finds out there by the wormhole  and the results of bringing it onboard….

So it should be exciting when it comes out, my guesstimate puts its release at mid-April (to be safe) so hopefully it won’t be a repeat of the Part 8 debacle with house moving and crashing drivers.

Well to get myself more into the mood of all this space battles and fighting I’m reinstalling Starlancer – the game that Chris Roberts made after the very excellent Wing Commander series.

It’s been called the last of the space sims and this could be the truth (bar Freelancer) but as I remember Starlancer is a wicked little game so should be good to have a replay if I can just figure out how to make a USB joystick work with the damn thing…
