Part 6 Begins…

A very rocky start to part 6, due to the demands of the first shot (a very large number of ships) I managed to crash and then corrupt the file containing a whole days worth of work. So now I’ve switched to a much more powerful program and upgraded my system with another terrabyte drive. However I’ve had to learn a whole new 3D program which has taken a bit of time (also converting over all the 3D models and re-texturing them). So unfortunately Part 6 is somewhat behind, at this stage it is written, 40%-50% of audio lines done and shamefully only 2 shots completed thus far. However work is picking up pace now and am moving forward.
So stay tuned I will keep you all updated.

Yeah taking my time is about right…going a little slower with this one due to picking up a whole new program, but visuals look a lot nicer. Hopefully should Part 6 wrapped up in about 2 weeks – fingers crossed, here’s hoping!

Yeah lew as you know I’m a sci fi geek so of course I’m interested. However it’s not the genre that I love, sure space ships are cool and future weapons are really neat. But for me it’s the story and the characters behind them, characters make the story, not the plot at least in my mind.
I once tried to read the “Heritage Trilogy” by Ian Douglas but the characters were so cliche that I stopped reading the series and dropped book 3 in the first chapter. The plot was great but the characters were lacking.
Your characters are great! Still don’t like the Boss lol.

Sucks on the data loss – seems like it happens at the WORST times! Nice job on the 1TB external, that’ll help a ton. What are you using for 3D now?
